We need someone who is comfortable thinking outside the box, with strong programming skills and the desire to work on a variety of projects using the latest technologies with a drive to learn.

The goal of the software engineer will be to help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy web applications using the ASP.NET Framework 2.0/4.0 and SQL Server technologies.  The engineer will work in a self-guided development environment with a small team of engineers.

Ideal candidates will have expert level proficiency in ASP.NET web development using C# as well as advanced proficiency with relational databases, SQL, HTML, and CSS.  Additionally the candidate should be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  •    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
  •    2+ years web development experience with the Microsoft .NET platform, including C# and ASP.NET
  •    5+ years experience with object oriented programming
  •    Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server;  Oracle experience a plus
  •    Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
  •    Experience with web site maintenance and deployment using IIS
  •    Experience with commercial content management systems a plus
  •    Systems integration experience with web services
  •    Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle
  •    Self-motivation
  •    Thrives in a hardworking and fun corporate culture
  •    Ability to work in both independent and team environments
  •    Create design documents when and as required.
  •    Should be familiar with formal software development life cycle methodologies.

Additionally, the ideal .NET Developer will have strong verbal and written communication skills, will be a true team player with a commitment to success, and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing small business development environment.
