Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant

Softmedia, Inc. is searching for an Administrative Assistant which would be reporting directly to the President of the company.  The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the preparation of correspondence, answering main telephone system, greeting clients, calendar management, database management, intranet content management, web site content management, managing incoming/​outgoing emails and email lists, internet research, maintaining electronic and hard copy filing system, inventory and ordering of office supplies, special projects as assigned and overall administrative support to the staff.

This candidate would also play a very important role in the organization of the tournaments in the sports division.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Self motivation – thrives in a hard working and fun corporate culture

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, will be a true team player with a commitment to success, and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing small business development environment.

This position is a fulltime employee position but for the right candidate can be filled as a 'mothers hours' position.
